Holocaust survivor Cipora Katz at Loyola: World History students learned about life during the Holocaust from survivor Cipora Katz, when she spoke in April about her life hiding from the Germans in 1942. “The Holocaust did not start with gas chambers but with discrimination,” she said. In her speech, she emphasized that young people need to be aware of bullying and instead bring peace or "shalom" into our world. Click here to view video highlights from the presentation.
