    Artist Mardy Sears will display her work in an exhibition entitled "I will miss you more than I know" in the Performing Arts Center Gallery from October 18 to November 12. Ms. Sears has worked in the Prints and Drawings Department at the Art Institute of Chicago for the last 17 years and lives in Evanston. Her delicate and magical works on paper include large-scale prints and hand-made artist books featuring endangered animals. Whales, wolves, birds, and other creatures are combined with calligraphy and letter forms with a poetic and profound artistic vision.

  • TikTok Hip Hop

    Students in grades six, seven, and eight hop your way into the newest TikTok dance routines. Loyola Academy dancers and teachers will instruct and film. Post and share your night of fun. Check in begins at 5:45 p.m. in the lobby of door 6 (north of stadium), event begins at 6:00 p.m., and pick up is at 8:15 p.m. Registration fee is $25 and includes dinner and a t-shirt.     An orientation event for prospective students and their parents. Please register for one of the following sessions: 4:30 p.m., 5:15 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 6:45 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The sessions will start in the East Gym with a presentation by Tim Devine, principal of Loyola Academy, and then continue with a personalized tour with a Rambler. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled start time. Due to the high level of interest, we have expanded the number of tour sessions during these times. Although pre-registration is highly encouraged, if you are unable to register, walk-ins will be welcome during each of the above tour sessions. Visit goramblers.org/openhouse for more information.

    Join us for the University of Chicago's Lumen Christi Institute Magis Lecture Series in the McGrath Family Performing Arts Center. The evening will begin with Mass in the Chapel, followed by a reception at 5:45 p.m. The lecture, delivered by Jeffrey P. Bishop, MD, PhD, of Saint Louis University, will begin at 6:30 p.m. Dr. Bishop will present on the topic, "Technology, Liturgy, and the Work of Human Hands."
