Brian Norkett '79, Tony McKerr '80, Fred O’Connor '80, and Marty Bredemann '80 (not pictured) kicked off the holiday season together with a radio show-style performance of It's a Wonderful Life at the Athenaeum Center for Thought & Culture.

David R. Bryant '57 was recently appointed to the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District’s Stickney Community Partnership Council for a two-year term from 2024 to 2026.

In August 2024 Patrick E. Pfohl '79 set off for a solo cross-country bike tour to raise funds for Howard Brown. His trip will begin his 2,400-mile trip in Portland, Oregon, and he is expected to be back home in Evanston by mid-October.

In preparation for their 50th reunion in September 2024, William B. "Bill" Cerney '74, Michael R. "Mike" Denten '74, and Robert J. "Bob" Falk, Jr. '74 caught up with each other over lunch at Cooper's Hawk in Wheeling.

In June 2024, Martin J. "Marty" Perry '72 graduated from the University of Chicago with a Master of Liberal Arts. Marty wrote in saying, "When writing my thesis, I made constant mental checks as to whether Fr. Walter Crane would approve of my grammar choices."

Former basketball coach and longtime teacher John A. O'Loughlin '59 was inducted into the Chicago Catholic League (CCL) Hall of Fame at a ceremony on April 25 in McCook, Illinois. John is part of a Hall of Fame class whose values and ideals complement that of the Catholic League, and they will uphold the integrity and credibility of its prestigious Hall of Fame.

Artist Henry J. "Chip" Feeley '59 donated a beautiful large-format painting to Loyola Academy. The Sea hangs in Loyola's new Performing Arts Center for the school community to enjoy. Click here for a short interview with Chip, conducted by Fine Arts Department Chair Ms. Patricia Patterson.

Elias A. Voulgaris '79  retired from the Chicago Police Department as a commander after 35 years of service. He has been selected as an Expert on Policing to the International Criminal Court (ICC) at The Hague in the Netherlands.
