Beginning June 1, 2022, all users are required to log in to My Loyola using Blackbaud ID (BBID). All users will use an email address as their username. (Please note, each account must have an individual email address. Families cannot use the same email address.)

  • Students

    Current Loyola Academy students use their Loyola Academy student email address credentials to login to their My Loyola account. These accounts are administered through G-Suite Students may change their email passwords once they have logged into their Gmail accounts. If you have forgotten Google credentials, visit the Technology Office during school hours.

    On the My Loyola login screen, enter your student email address and click Next. If you are logged in to your Loyola student Google account, you will automatically be logged in to your My Loyola account through single sign-on. If you are not logged in to your student Google account, click the Sign in with Google option and enter your Loyola student Google password.
  • Incoming Students

    Students who have been accepted to Loyola Academy for the coming school year will receive instructions on how to activate their Rambler email account in early June.
  • Candidates

    Students interested in attending Loyola Academy, but who have not yet been accepted for admission, do not have login credentials. Parents of candidates have their own login credentials.

  • Faculty and Staff

    Current faculty and staff members use their Loyola Academy  email address credentials to login to their My Loyola account. These accounts are administered through G-Suite.   • Coaches

    Login credentials for head coaches are managed through their Loyola Academy email address. These accounts are administered through G-Suite. Email passwords may be changed once they have logged into their Gmail accounts. If you have forgotten Google credentials, visit the Technology Office during school hours.

    On the My Loyola login screen, enter your Loyola email address and click Next. If you are logged in to your Loyola Google account, you will automatically be logged in to your My Loyola account through single sign-on. If you are not logged in to your  Google account, click the Sign in with Google option and enter your Loyola Google password.

  • Current Parents

    Each parent has his or her own My Loyola account. Enter your email address in the username/email field and click Next. Enter your password or click the Sign in the Google or Sign in with Apple option, depending on the option you chose.

    If both parents were entered on the student's application with individual email addresses. each parent has his or her own My Loyola account.     Note, if you have a BBID account through another school, Blackbaud allows you to use the same login credentials. Do not create another account. See the troubleshooting section below for more information.

  • Parents of Candidate or Prospective Student (Inquiry Form Already Completed)

    The parent that completed the Inquiry Form does have an account.
     
    Note, if you have a student at another school who utilizes BBID, you will be able to use the same BBID account credentials to access both accounts. When creating your account, be sure to use the same email address you use for your grade school BBID account.
     
    Access goramblers.org and click the My Loyola button, enter your email address in the username/email field and click Next.  Enter your password or click the Sign in the Google or Sign in with Apple option, depending on the option you chose. If you have forgotten your password, please see the Troubleshooting section below.
     
    If you have not registered your account through Blackbaud ID (BBID), enter your email address in the username/email field and click Next.
     
    Note, if you have a BBID account through another school, Blackbaud allows you to use the same login credentials. Do not create another account. See the troubleshooting section below for more information.

    Sign Up ScreenThree options are available for managing your account:

    1. Choose your own password — the password should be unique, must contain 12 characters including 1 uppercase letter, 1 lowercase letter, 1 number, and 1 special character. Enter your desired password, confirm the password, and enter your first and last names. Click Sign up to move to the next step.

      Within approximately 5 minutes of signing up, you will receive an email (from noreply@blackbaud.com) with the subject line "Confirm your Blackbaud ID" — click the Confirm button in this email to confirm your account creation within 24 hours.

      Once you confirm your account, you will be redirected to the My Loyola login page.

    2. Sign up with Google — If you elect to use a Google account for authentication (a @gmail.com email is not required), select Sign up with Google button. If you select this option, you will sign in using credentials managed in Google.

    3. Sign up with Apple — If you elect to use an Apple account for authentication, select Sign up with Apple button. If you select this option, you will sign in using credentials managed through Apple. Note, users must select Share my email to ensure they can log in to My Loyola and to ensure they receive notification.     Once you've completed the sign up process, a confirmation email will be sent to you with a six digit confirmation code. The confirmation email will be sent from Blackbaud at noreply@blackbaud.com.
     
    Enter this code on the screen and you will be directed back to the My Loyola login page. Enter your email address and click Next.
  • Parents of Candidate or Prospective Student (Inquiry Form Not Completed)

    In order to set up your account with Loyola Academy, an Inquiry Form must be completed. Click here to complete the Inquiry Form.
     
    Note, if you have a student at another school who utilizes BBID, you will be able to use the same BBID account credentials to access both accounts. When creating your account, be sure to use the same email address you use for your grade school BBID account.
     
    Loyola Academy will process your inquiry form within 24 hours (when school is in session). Once your inquiry form is processed, you may continue to set up your account following the instructions below.

  • Alumni

    All alumni have an account. If you have not accessed your My Loyola in the past year, please contact us at webhelp@loy.org to reactivate your account.

  • Forgotten Password

    • Sign in with Google — your password is managed through Google.
    • Sign with Apple — your password is managed through your iCloud account.
    • Chose your own password — use the Forgot password? link on the My Loyola sign in page to request a password reset email. We suggest you check your spam or junk email folder, if you are not receiving the email in your inbox. Also, be sure the following email addresses are listed within your safe sender list or email address book to assure that you receive emails:

  • Resetting My Password Through BBID

  • Login Disabled or Deactivated Account

    For security reasons, all accounts are deactivated after one year of non-use. If you receive an error message when trying to log in to your account, please contact webhelp@loy.org to reactivate your account. Please be aware, this email address is monitored during school hours only.
  • Login with Apple Not Working

    During the sign-up phase, users must select Share my email to ensure they can log in to My Loyola. Users who select the Hide my email option or do not proactively change the selection to Share my email will lose access to certain solutions or systems. This occurs because, when Hide my email is selected, a new Blackbaud ID (BBID) is created using the Apple-generated hidden email address (which typically ends with @privaterelay.appleid.com). This hidden email address is not associated with the organization or the user's permissions/access to their products, preventing the user from accessing their systems.

    As a result, the user ends up with two Blackbaud IDs: one under their original email address and one under the @privaterelay.appleid.com email address. Information on resolving this issue is available here.
  • Parent Has BBID Credentials Through Another School

    Blackbaud allows parents to use the same Blackbaud ID for multiple schools. If you have already set up a BBID account through your child's grade school, when accessing the sign up page do not create a new account — scroll to the bottom and click the Sign in link.
  • Shared Device and Private Browser

    If you are using a shared device, make sure that no one else is already signed in using their own BBID account. If that is the case, sign out of BBID and clear the cache/history on the browser you are using or use a different browser.

  • Clearing Cache and Cookies

    When troubleshooting internet browsing issues, clearing cache and cookies is a crucial first step. The browser cache is a tool that helps speed up page loading times. However, it can sometimes present problems when websites are updated and developed. This occurs because the files saved in the cache may conflict with what is actually coded into the website. Clearing cache and cookies ensures that any issues you encounter are not due to inconsistencies caused by using different browsers, but rather something wrong with the website itself.

  • Failed Login Attempts

    If you elected to choose your own password and enter the wrong password more than five times, the system will automatically prompt you to reset your password. 
  • Need to Change Your Login Email Address

    You can easily change your email address associated with your Blackbaud ID account. Please click here for more information.

    Note, changing your login email address DOES NOT change your email address for communication purposes. Please complete the Profile Update Form to make any profile changes.
