Women Leaders of Loyola Hear From Guest Speaker Biljana Spasojevic
On Wednesday, November 29, Women Leaders of Loyola welcomed Biljana Spasojevic, a U.S. Secret Service Agent, to speak with members. Spasojevic is the aunt of Filia Tzortzis '26, a student leader of the club. She spoke about the process of becoming an agent and her time serving on the President's detail between 2017 and 2021. She also discussed what it is like to work in a male-dominated industry. She currently works out of the Chicago office as a supervisor, coordinating agents within the Midwest region.
The Women Leaders of Loyola is a leadership club established to promote the voices of young women at Loyola Academy. Members help plan events, spread awareness about issues affecting women today, and collaborate in conversation. Members lead the school community in celebration of Women's History Month by hosting events with guest speakers and partnering with other women empowerment organizations, as well as spreading information. The club also functions as a service club with all members completing at least one service activity per year. For more information on Women Leaders of Loyola, click here.
