2024 National Honor Society Induction

On Sunday, November 12, 118 seniors were inducted into Loyola Academy's chapter of the National Honor Society—a record number for the Academy. A Mass was celebrated, followed by the induction ceremony and a reception. Induction into the National Honor Society is based on four pillars: character, leadership, scholarship, and service. The scholars listed below applied during their junior year and met the criteria for all four pillars. They truly are women and men for others.
In her address to the inductees, National Honor Society Moderator Mrs. Kate York recognized the work student leadership has done to help the chapter evolve to meet the needs of the community. This evolution has included the launch of an NHS Instagram account, the use of new technology to track service hours and attendance, and the expansion of next year's application process to include rising juniors. Also new this year, the chapter decided to focus its service efforts on three local organizations: Habitat for Humanity, Well and Mercy, and Northfield Food Pantry.
