Seniors Earn Academic Honors from College Board National Recognition Programs

Loyola Academy is proud to recognize the following seniors that were awarded academic honors from the College Board's National Recognition Programs: Gianna Bermudez, Sofia Chen, Gabrielle Diaz, Himroad Giorgis, Luke Marqueda Majeske, and Naima Prusaitis.
Each year, College Board awards thousands of students from across the country with academic honors through the annual National Recognition Programs. The programs celebrate underrepresented students who excel academically on College Board assessments, including PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, and AP Exams and earn a GPA of B+ or higher.

High-achieving students from all 50 states and U.S. territories were eligible for the five programs: National African American Recognition Program, National Hispanic Recognition Program, National Indigenous Recognition Program, National Rural and Small-Town Recognition Program, and for the first time, the National First-Generation Recognition Program.

Gianna Bermudez, Sofia Chen, Gabrielle Diaz, and Luke Marqueda Majeske are all National Hispanic Recognition Program awardees. Himroad Giorgis and Naima Prusaitis are National African American Recognition Program award winners. Himroad Giorgis was also named a National First-Generation Recognition Program awardee.

Congratulations, Ramblers!
