On April 7–11, Ramblers celebrated a festive Spring Spirit Week leading up to the spring pep rally to honor spring sports. Each day, students had the opportunity to dress down in fun themes like "Pajama Day" on Monday, "Groutfit" on Tuesday, "Twin Day" on Wednesday, "Souvenir Shirt Day" on Thursday, and "White Out" on Friday. A paper airplane contest, trivia, musical chairs, and a knockout tournament were just some of the activities planned by Student Council to hype students up throughout the week. To cap off the week, Kona Ice trucks pulled up on Friday during flex to surprise the students.
To close the week's festivities, a rousing Rambler pep rally took place in the East Gym on Friday, April 11. The pep rally showcased performances by the band, cheerleaders, Ramblerettes, Step Team, and more. Seniors Nora Emerson and Tyler Isaacson served as emcees. Throughout the hour-long assembly, the energy was electric as music filled the gym and students—crowding the bleachers and balcony—cheered on their friends and classmates. This year’s rally featured friendly competition between faculty and students in a series of events: a trivia contest, knockout, mattress surfing, and a choreographed dance performed with the poms and cheer teams. Drumline capped things off with a spirited performance of the Loyola fight song.
Spring Spirit Week 2025 was a wonderful way for Loyola students, faculty, and staff to kick off the fourth quarter as a community. We acknowledge the tremendous efforts of Student Activities in organizing and preparing so many wonderful events and activities!
