Racing to Nationals

The Loyola Academy Rowing Association had an impressive showing at the Midwest Scholastic Rowing Championships, held on Kent Lake in Milford, MI, on May 11–12. The team earned six noteworthy medals and qualified several boats for the Scholastic Rowing Association of America's National Championships, which will be held on Cooper River in Pennsauken, NJ, on May 24–25.
At the midwest championships, the team placed the following boats:
  • Women's varsity 8+: third place
  • Women's 2nd varsity 8+: third place
  • Women's JV 8+: third place
  • Women's freshman 8 +: third place
  • Men's 2nd varsity 8+: third place
  • Men's JV 8+: third place
