2024 Chicago Catholic League (CCL) Golf Championship

Congratulations to our Varsity team (12 players) and our six representatives who played great golf at Cog Hill to win the CCL Championship with a team score of 307. Congrats to Drew Southwell '25 who got third place with a 73. Ben Riekse '26, Griffin Huntington '26, & Jack Stamatis '26 all shot 78 and tied for tenth place. Xander Schafer '28 shot 79 and Charlie Kasten '25 shot 80. 

 

The JV/Sophomore team played tremendously as well as the entire 17-man Team and the six representatives who played at Cog Hill also won the CCL Championship with a team score of 314. They beat rival St. Ignatius by nine strokes. This marks Loyola Academy's 16th straight JV CCL Championship. Congrats to Pasha Zabadneh '27 who was the CCL JV medalist with an impressive score of 75! Mason Lalich '27 shot a 78 for fourth place and Connor McAuley '27 shot an 80 for 8th place. Ricardo Gonzalez '28 shot 81, Danny Hession '27 shot 82, and Jack Wilson '27 shot 89.
