Submitting a Transfer Student Application

This online application must be completed by the parent/guardian of the applicant. Please make certain to submit accurate information for the student and parent(s)/guardian(s) as the information you provide will be used to create the official student and parent/guardian records.

To complete the online application, all parents/guardians must first log in to My Loyola at goramblers.org.

On your Parent persona, click your child's name (if you do not see your child's name in this section, please contact webhelp@loy.org) in the top left of the screen. Click the Fill Out button to begin your application.

Note, there is a rolling admissions policy for transfer students. Decisions will be made once the application is completed and all required information is received.
Submitting Academic Records
Parents/guardians must upload all required documentation to the student checklist:
- academic records, unofficial transcript, and attendance & disciplinary reports (if applicable) as one PDF
- most recent standardized test scores as one PDF
- 3 letters of recommendations as one PDF
Admissions decisions cannot be made until all information is received.

Simply log in here or click on My Loyola in the upper corner of any page. Select your student's name to complete the application.

If you are submitting an application for multiple children (e.g. twins, triplets, etc.)
- Complete the application for the first child
- Log in to your My Loyola account at goramblers.org
- Click the Apply Another Child button
- Complete the application for the additional child(ren)

Admissions Application Instructions for Transfer Students

Transfer Applicants
Loyola Academy offers a rolling admissions process for transfer students for the next academic year. Letters of decision will be emailed once all information is received. Loyola Academy reserves the right to limit the number of transfer students due to space limitations, even if the transfer student meets the criteria for admission. Loyola does not accept mid-year transfers or transfers into senior year.

The application process for transfer students includes the following steps:

Step 1: Complete an Inquiry Form—this allows us to stay in contact with you and creates both the student and parent or guardian My Loyola account within our system.
Step 2: Complete the online Transfer Student Application Form through the student checklist on the parent/guardian My Loyola account. The transfer application will be available April 1 through May 15, 2025.

Step 3: Upload unofficial transcripts to the student checklist on the parent/guardian My Loyola account. Official transcripts are required after the applicant's current school year is completed.

Step 4: Submit three letters of recommendation by either emailing them to admissions@loy.org or uploading them to the student's checklist in the parent/guardian My Loyola account. Letters must include:
- - One letter from principal or assistant principal
  - Two letters from current teachers
Step 5: Upload copies of most recent standardized tests (HSPT, PSAT, PLAN, ACT, SAT, etc.) to the student checklist on the parent/guardian My Loyola account.

Loyola Academy accepts the most qualified applicants and only if space is available to accept the student. Acceptance is contingent upon space, academic fit and the successful completion of the applicant’s current school year.
