Ramblerettes

The Ramblerettes is the competitive dance team and spirit squad at Loyola Academy. Both the JV and varsity teams perform at home football games, basketball games and school events. The Ramblerettes participate in school spirit-raising activities and service opportunities throughout the year. In the winter season, dancers compete through IHSA and the Universal Dance Association, with the varsity team also competing at state and nationals. Tryouts are typically held in the spring for the following season. The team practices June-February.

Marching Band, Ramblerettes, and Cheer Lead Wilmette 150 Parade
Loyola Academy’s Marching Band, Ramblerettes dance team, and Cheer squad led the Wilmette 150 parade on Saturday, September 10, at a block party celebrating the village’s sesquicentennial anniversary. Officially incorporated in September 1872, the Village of Wilmette saw hundreds come out in support including residents, neighbors, and town officials and dignitaries. Notably, Loyola Academy has called Wilmette home for 65 years since moving from the campus of Loyola University Chicago in 1957.Read More
